Geomorphosis is a 40 minute long solo of a dancer interacting with a projected surrounding.
Geo is taken from the greek word γαια meaning ‘earth’, usually in the sense of ground or land. Morphosis is standing for the latin word ‘morphosis’, which means shaping. Geomorphosis is a contemporary dance performance with live visuals, which enlightens our symbiosis with nature around us. We are in constant interdependency with the surrounding by being shaped and shaping it ourselves. Along a wall, the story line unfolds between the present, the past and future, looking at what there is as the sense of time starts to fade.
